Thought Provoking Questions to Access Where you are, have been, and are going.
Edgy Women Bible Study 10-26-17

Questions help us to access where we are, where we have been, and where we want to go.

Scale: 1-5

1 I want to improve but do not see it happening

2 I want to improve I'll look for ways to improve

3 I want to improve I've look at ways to improve and I plan to implement

4 I want to improve I've found ways to improve and I'm doing it

5 I want to improve I'm happy to share my experience to help others

Haggai 1:5 New International Version (NIV) 5 Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.

Psalm 139:23-24 English Standard Version (ESV) 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!  24 And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

Ephesians 5:15 English Standard Version (ESV) 15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,

2 Timothy 2:2 English Standard Version (ESV) 2 and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.

Questions to Consider:

  1. How is my personal prayer time?
  2. How is my personal time reading The Bible?
  3. How is my personal time reading or listening to speakers of God's truths excluding Sunday morning church?
  4. How is my personal time in the community of believers?
  5. How is my time with my husband in prayer?
  6. How is my time with my husband reading The Bible together?
  7. How is my time with my husband reading or listening to speakers of God's truth excluding Sunday morning church?
  8. How is my time with my husband in the community of believers?

Looking at your answers, can you identify ways to improve your spiritual growth?

Can you identify the distractions, that hinder your spiritual growth?

How often are you willing to access yourself? How will you accomplish this?

Never rely on enthusiasm to replace rigorous discipline and a detailed plan. To sustain growth, you need to schedule it. @JohnCMaxwell
